The familiar acronym KISS might be a reminder to keep our spirituality simple. 
Some would define spirituality as that which has to do with ecclesiastical law and belonging to the church. Simplicity is often defined as the state of being uncomplicated or uncompounded. Is it possible that spirituality is not as complicated as previously believed? In other words, what if spirituality is basically simple?
