Unity considers Easter as more than the story in the life of Jesus the Christ. Metaphysically Easter is about each individual awakening from the "dead" false beliefs that hinder the life more abundant of which Jesus taught. The crossing out or releasing of old beliefs is necessary for new life and understanding to grow within us.
